Bruce J. Tarzy, M.D.

Bruce Tarzy, M.D. practiced obstetrics and gynecology for over 25 years until retiring
in 2002. Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Tarzy has been a resident of San Diego
County since 1972. He has been active within both the medical and local communities,
and twice served as Mayor of Poway, California.
Dr. Tarzy received his B.A. degree from Johns Hopkins University, and graduated
from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He completed his residency
at the University of California, San Diego Hospital in Obstetrics and Gynecology,
where he served as President of the Interns and Residents Association.
While maintaining an active clinical practice, Dr. Tarzy served in numerous positions
of leadership and responsibility. He spent two and one-half years on the Board of
Directors of Palomar/Pomerado Health System and later eight years on the Poway City
Council. Dr. Tarzy has also served on the Boards of Directors for several medical
corporations where his area of expertise included finance and contract negotiations.
He has served on the Board of a corporation that had a successful public offering
with a present day value of $100M. Additionally, Dr. Tarzy served as general partner
for two major commercial construction projects.
Dr. Tarzy retired from clinical practice in May 2002. He also consulted as a medical
expert for several large medical-legal firms.
In April 2003, Dr. Tarzy was asked to join the Audit and Investigation Division
of the California Department of Health Services in the Medical Review Branch. He
served with distinction in this role until June 2004 and continues to serve as a
consultant.
In May 2003, Dr. Tarzy joined with George Schwartzman to co-found MediKeeper, Inc.,
and originally served the company as its Executive Vice President and Medical Director.
In February 2006, Dr. Tarzy assumed duties as CEO and Chief Medical Officer.
Dr. Tarzy and his wife Beth are the parents of one adult son and reside in Poway,
California. He is avid connoisseur of wine and passionate Padres fan.

David H. Nguyen

David Nguyen has extensive IT experience consulting for and serving top Fortune
500 companies such as Wal-Mart, General Electric, FedEx, and Marriott. In addition,
he also has consulted and deployed backup and disaster recovery solutions for enterprises
and institutions such as Yahoo!, Dow Jones, and the US Courts.
Mr. Nguyen holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree from the University of Maryland
with a major in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Mathematics. He also completed
a Master’s of Science degree from Johns Hopkins in the Management of Information
Systems.
In December, 2000, Mr. Nguyen relocated to San Diego when he co-founded BakBone
Software, Inc., a leading data protection solution provider of data backup, restore,
and disaster recovery software for network storage and open-systems environment.
Mr. Nguyen helped build from the ground up, a complete IT and QA infrastructure.
Mr. Nguyen then moved on to manage the company’s Integration Services department
in which he masterminded and deployed disaster recovery strategies for companies
such as Wal-Mart and Yahoo!.
In May of 2005, Mr. Nguyen joined MediKeeper to serve as the Vice President of Technology.
Mr. Nguyen resides in San Diego and is passionate about racing cars and motorcycles.

Dew-Anne Langcaon

Dew-Anne Langcaon has over 20 years of financial and business experience with over
a decade in finance, operations and strategic business development in the healthcare
industry. Dew-Anne also previously worked as a Certified Public Accountant with
Deloitte and Touche. Dew-Anne joined PacifiCap in February of 2006 and she leads
the overall financial organization, and portfolio company monitoring, as well as
managing deal flow and due diligence for PacifiCap’s healthcare related investments.
Dew-Anne also brings to PacifiCap a depth of experience in being an entrepreneur
herself as a co-founder of Ho’okele Personal Health Planners, LLC a Hawaii based
patient advocacy and care management services firm.
Prior to joining PacifiCap, Dew-Anne was the Executive Vice President and Chief
Strategic Officer for Hawaii Pacific Health (HPH), the state’s largest health care
provider. In her role, she provided senior executive leadership for system-wide
strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, joint venture activities, organizational
risk management, research, quality and risk management, captive insurance company
operations and academic affiliations.
Before entering the healthcare industry, Dew-Anne spent six years as a CPA with
Deloitte & Touche in Honolulu, leaving the firm in 1993 as an Audit Manager. Her
areas of specialty were in healthcare, real estate, mergers and acquisitions and
automotive dealerships.
Born and raised in Hawaii, Dew-Anne graduated from St. Andrew’s Priory as well as
the University of Hawaii at Manoa where she earned a Bachelors degree in Business
Administration and a Masters degree in Accounting. Dew-Anne maintains a strong commitment
to the community and volunteers her time and leadership skills to many Boards in
the community including: St. Andrew’s Priory School; the American Red Cross, Hawaii
Chapter; Aloha United Way; YWCA; the Foundation for Research and Medical Education;
the Hawaii Science and Technology Council; and Enterprise Honolulu.
Dew-Anne is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the Hawaii
Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of CPAs and is a
Fellow with the Healthcare Financial Management Association.

David Ashworth

David Ashworth has extensive experience in management and driving sales growth.
As CEO and President of Memec, Inc., he grew the company to become the largest distributor
of specialized electronics in the world with over $3.2 billion in annual revenues.
He also led the team that executed the company’s sale to Avnet in December 2005.
Mr. Ashworth, a native of the United Kingdom, holds a degree in Business Administration
from Oxford University as well as postgraduate training at INSEAD in Paris and Stanford
University. He started working for Memec in 1984 and rose rapidly in the company
to become Product Marketing Director for Memec Asia Pacific in Hong Kong. From 1990
to 1995 Mr. Ashworth served as Marketing Director of CiNERGi, part of Singapore
Technologies, where he was instrumental in positioning the company for sale in 1996.
In 1996, he returned to Memec and rose to CEO in 1999.
Mr. Ashworth has long had a strong interest in healthcare related technologies in
general, and MediKeeper in particular, and was one of the company’s early investors.
He is actively involved in several education-related charities and is an avid car
enthusiast. Mr. Ashworth is married and lives in Rancho Santa Fe, California with
his wife Christine and their 3 children.

Jason Peoples
Vice President of Sales and Business Development

Jason Peoples began his career selling voice recognition dictation systems to small,
mid-size, and large medical practice groups in the Atlanta area. Since that time
he has held a variety of sales, marking, and business development positions with
security, managed services, high-tech, mobile, and healthcare firms.
From 97-01 Peoples was a member of the original management team at Interland. While
there Peoples was responsible for building the sales organization from 1 to over
100, driving revenues from zero to over $3.5M in monthly recurring revenue, as well
as creating the Channel Sales and Strategic Alliance programs. He held numerous
roles ranging from VP Sales, VP Business Development, and VP of International Business
Development. While assisting the company in raising over $60M in venture funding
he was also an integral part of opening the international office in Holland, where
he lived during 2000 and travelled the globe extensively generating new business
opportunities.
After an Interland IPO in 2000 Peoples transitioned to Network Solutions to be the
Director of Global Sales and held responsibility for a $30M line of business and
was then asked to join VeriSign (owner of NetworkSolutions at the time) to be the
Director of Business Development for the Security Services division until 2005.
In 2005 Peoples reported to the CEO of Marketworks, Inc, the largest eBay certified
solutions provider, where he was in charge of all sales, partnering and business
development activities in North America. Marketworks was sold to Channel Advisor
at the end of 2006.
In 2006 Peoples joined Venafi, a VeriSign partner focused on systems management
for encryption technologies. Mr. Peoples served as Vice President of Business Development
and Strategic Alliances. In 2007 he was the VP of Sales and Business Development
for Diversinet, a company focused on delivering secure mobile solutions to the healthcare
industry.
Mr. Peoples lives in Atlanta with his wife Leslie and their three children. He is
enthusiastic about family, snow, water, dirtbikes, tennis, golf and anything fast
downhill. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Marketing with a concentration in
International Business from James Madison University.
